Directions
Easy to find from all directions from A35 Dorchester bypass:
by following the brown “Maiden Castle” tourist signs.
Stay on the A35 to turn on to the B3147, at the ‘Tesco roundabout’ junction by Dorchester Town Football Club’s Weymouth Avenue stadium.
Maiden Castle Road is then the first turning left from this approach road to Dorchester.
Aquila Heights is about 500yds along on the right hand side, on the corner of Florence Road

From Town Centre, follow the Weymouth signs. From the traffic lights in Weymouth Avenue by Maumbury Rings. Maiden Castle Road is the third turning on your right.
Parking
There
is a private parking area available for 5 cars with no restrictions
on street parking locally.

This is clearly marked on the higher magnification, 14 miles east of Dorchester (20 – 25 minutes via A35 or A352) just about one mile North of Wool
Monkey World is also accessible from Dorchester by Train and Bus to Wool
Dorchester South Station for Bus and Train is about an 8 minute walk from Aquila Heights
By Train East to Wool, it is about a 10 minute journey, hourly
Bus takes about an hour+ as it goes the scenic route and is also much less frequent – even less frequent outside of the summer season

The main East / West A35 Trunk Route provides fast road access with links from all directions
A37 from the North-West from Yeovil and the A354 from the North-East from Salisbury (continues south to Weymouth)
And A352 to Wool for Monkey World, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle and Swanage
Through traffic is by-passed around Dorchester, leaving the town centre for local traffic and visitors
RAIL
Dorchester South Station is on the Waterloo/Weymouth line.
Dorchester West Station is on the Bristol/Weymouth line
Both railway stations about a 10 minute walk and 2 minutes in a taxi from Aquila Heights
Dorchester South Railway Station is also the bus station - Taxis meet every train
